Tracy Rae began her teaching career at Fairways Primary School in 1981 after obtaining a Higher Diploma in Education at the Johannesburg College of Education in association with the University of the Witwatersrand.
She has taught Afrikaans and Art and has been a Head of Department of the Senior Phase for the past 13 years, as well becoming Deputy Principal before being posted to Principal.
She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Ambulance Emergency Assistant.
In addition to this, she has completed the Serious Offences Advanced Rapewise Workshop for Educators.
Her dedication and energy combined with her experience and professional qualifications has made a significant impact on Fairways Primary School. She has a record of total commitment to the school and a fine appreciation of its history and structure.
She is the first woman to hold a permanent position as Principal at Fairways Primary School and is sure to take the school to further heights.
