The Media Centre at Fairways aims to provide a dynamic and efficient service to support and enrich the curriculum with a variety of media for teaching and learning.
The Media Centre also aims to promote the personal and intellectual development of every child to his full potential through planned and purposeful guidance in the use of media as well as to motivate and equip pupils with skills to use media productively and meaningfully in school, at home and later in adult life.
The Media Centre at Fairways provides the pupils with every opportunity to carry out research during the school day and after school as an extracurricular activity. Software has been computerised and each child has a bar-coded card with which to borrow books. We are constantly upgrading our system and searching for new and up-to-date material.
